Music Trivia 9

Formed in 1981, this heavy metal/progressive metal group got it's humble beginning in Bellvue, Washington. The band released several albums prior to the release of it's most successful album in 1990. The release of this, their 4th album, would generate the band's first top 10 single. One such power ballad on the album, which contained an orchestra, would reach number 1 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks. Among issues discussed in the band's songs were gun control and the environment. Can you name this band, and the song from them, that contains the following lyrics?

"There's a warm wind from the south, hoist the sail and we'll be gone
By morning this will all seem like a dream..."

Oh, yeah, you didn't ask, but "Silent Lucidity" was the song that went to #1 on the mainstream rock tracks
